about

The interpretation of the first reel is heavily influenced by the version recorded in July 1922 by Michael Coleman. It is followed by a composition of Charlie Lennon, dedicated to Leitrim/New York fiddler Vincent Harrison, and the set concludes with a version of a popular reel recorded in 1989 by fiddler Frankie Gavin on Frankie Goes to Town.
